Blanco, Texas - Trinity women's golf is atop the team and individual standings after Monday's first round at the SCAC Conference Preview.

HIGHLIGHTS

The Tigers shot an opening round 326 at the par-72 Vaaler Creek Golf Club course and lead second-place Southwestern (TX) University by one stroke in the five-team field.

Raquel Hill shot a 6-over 78 and is tied for first place with the Southwestern golfer. Hill posted three birdies in the opening round.

Joanna Kass stands alone in fifth place at 80, while individual golfer Sarah Buss is tied for sixth, one stroke in back of her teammate. Kass registered eight pars on her card in Monday's action.

Erin Farrow and individual golfer Georgia Nunn are tied for the 15th position. Farrow and Nunn each shot two birdies in their rounds. Delaney Kelley stands in 24th place.
