LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Junior midfielder Kaity Ward (Phoenix, Ariz. / Xavier Prep) of Trinity University Women's Soccer was once again named Offensive Player of the Week by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, the league office announced Monday night.
The Tiger offensive phenom has now won three of the last four SCAC weekly offensive honors and is joined by sophomore forward Molly Sheridan (St. Louis, Mo. / Kirkwood) to hoard four of the six total offensive nods during the 2021 spring slate.
The 2019 United Soccer Coaches All-Region first-teamer is up to four total SCAC Offensive Player of the Week awards for her career to go along with a pair of All-SCAC nods and a SCAC All-Tournament selection.
Ward leads Trinity, and the rest of the conference, with eight goals and a pair of assists for 18 total points through the Tigers' six contests, only five of which she has appeared in.
At eight goals, the Tiger junior would sit in a three-way tie at second place among the SCAC team leaderboard, as an individual.
Trinity Women's Soccer closes out the 2020-21 SCAC regular season with a road trip east to Centenary College. Kickoff in Shreveport, La. is set for 3 p.m.
