Coach Speak
"First game of the year is a great opportunity for the girls to come out and prove why they've been working so hard the past year," said coach Spencer Valdespino. "The energy was there from the entire team and it's always a great feeling when two our players record their first collegiate goals and the team celebrates harder than they do. It also helps when the defense holds it down as well as they did witha shutout to start the season. The Tigers were fed after a long awaited meal prep."
