The Tigers (6-1-2, 2-0 SCAC) host both SCAC matchups at the Paul this weekend. After defeating the McMurry Warhawks and Concordia Tornadoes last weekend, they look to continue their SCAC winning form.

SCAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Kylie Harris
For the first time in her career, freshman
Kylie Harris has been selected as the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Harris led the Tiger women's soccer team to a pair of SCAC shutout victories over the weekend, defeating McMurry at home and picking up a road win over Concordia (TX). Harris and the Trinity defense recorded a pair of shutouts, while she also had a goal and an assist in the 3-0 home win over McMurry. She led the team to its seventh and eighth shutouts in nine games this year, scoring her first career goal and first career assist.
Preview - Weekend of SCAC Action at the Paul
The Tigers will start their weekend at home against Texas Lutheran on Friday, October 11th at 7:30 PM. Then, they will host Southwestern on Sunday, October 13th at 2:00 PM.
On the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs: The Bulldogs currently hold a 6-3-1 record this season. In their last two matches, TLU beat the University of Dallas 4-2 and Austin College 2-0. Offensively, forwards Klarissa Martinez and Alyssa Simien lead the goalscoring tally, with five goals a piece so far this season for the Bulldogs. In their last matchup in 2023, Trinity tied Texas Lutheran 0-0. Historically, the Tigers hold a 34-0-1 record over the Bulldogs.
On the Southwestern Pirates: The Pirates have had an up and down season so far, with a record of 4-4. After a tough 3-1 loss to the Bulldogs, Southwestern has managed to bounce back with two consecutive victories against Austin College and the University of Dallas. The goals have been shared aplenty across the Pirates, with Laren Gradt, Samantha Hazen and Jackie Powell tied at the top with two goals each. In last year's matchup, Trinity defeated the Pirates 1-0, bringing their all-time record to 42-3-1 in favor of the Tigers.
