Preview - Warhawks and Tornadoes

The Tigers will start their weekend at home against McMurry on Friday, October 4th at 7:00 PM. Then, they will travel to Austin to play against Concordia on Sunday, October 6th at 7:00 PM.

On the McMurry Warhawks: The Warhawks currently hold a 4-4 record this season. In their last two matches, McMurry lost 3-0 to Hardin-Simmons and 2-0 to UMHB. Prior to these losses, the Warhawks enjoyed a three-game winning streak. Offensively, senior forward Emily Holland is far ahead of her teammates, having scored six goals this season, including two multi-goal games. McMurry will rely on her to lead their offense. In their last matchup in 2021, Trinity defeated McMurry 3-0

On the Concordia Tornadoes: The Tornadoes have had a challenging season so far, with a record of 2-5-1. Their two victories came against Huston Tillotson and Southwestern Assemblies of God. Concordia has been limited to fewer than ten shots in half of their games this season. Despite this, they have only been outscored 16-11 overall, with three of their losses coming by just one goal. Graduate forward Patricia Heckendorn leads the team with three goals, including a multi-goal game against Huston Tillotson. In last year's matchup, the Tigers and Tornadoes ended in a 2-2 tie, bringing their all-time record to 2-0-1 in favor of the Tigers.
