The Trinity University Football Team returns to San Antonio to take on Berry for Hall of Fame Weekend.
Last time out, the Tigers (4-2, 1-1 SAA) defeated Rhodes College 38-14. Trinity's offense passed for more than 300 yards – most of which came from the arm of starting quarterback
Ryan Back (Austin, Texas / Vandegrift), who finished with a career-high 296 yards through the air on 23-of-35 passing and three touchdowns.
Will Taylor (Houston, Texas / Strake Jesuit) led the receiving corps with five receptions for 76 yards and a score.
Jonathan Nwobodo (Missouri City, Texas / Ridge Point) recorded 3.0 sacks for a total loss of 20 yards in the game, becoming the ninth Trinity player to record three or more sacks in a game. He is also the first to do so since Luke Packard accomplished the feat in 2016, picking up all three of his sacks in the second quarter.
Cade Rabson (The Woodlands, Texas / College Park) led the Tiger team with nine total tackles in the game. The Tigers now sit at third in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) standings behind first place Centre and second place Berry.

The Tigers will be back at Trinity Multi-Purpose Stadium to play against Berry College on Saturday, October 26th with a 1:00 PM kickoff.
On the Berry College Vikings: The Vikings currently hold a 5-1 record (3-0 in SAA play) this season. Although they suffered a 33-0 loss to nationally-ranked DePauw, Berry has dominated all but one of their other opponents. In each of their five victories, the Vikings have won by at least 29 points. Their success has largely been driven by a strong rushing attack, led by senior Brandon Cade, who has 547 rushing yards and averages 5.4 yards per carry this season. Quarterback Christian Lewis has also been a key contributor, with a 52% completion rate, 1,263 passing yards, and 11 touchdowns.
Defensively, the Vikings have been solid, allowing only 123 passing yards and 111 rushing yards per game. Defensive back Jake Whitten leads the team with 38 total tackles. In their last matchup, the Tigers defeated the Vikings 46-37, bringing the all-time series to 4-2 in favor of the Tigers.
