The Tigers (5-2, 3-1 SAA) won 38-35 in overtime against Berry on Saturday.
Tyler Huettel (McKinney, Texas / McKinney) kicked a 33-yard field goal in overtime to lift the Tigers to the win.
Ryan Back (Austin, Texas / Vandegrift) threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns, then also ran in from inside the one yard line for another score. He has thrown for 250 yards or more in three straight games.
Cade Rabson (The Woodlands, Texas / College Park) finished with a career-high 14 tackles to lead Trinity's defense, while
Lukas Morin (Round Rock, Texas / Stony Point) not only had a career-best nine tackles, but he also recorded two interceptions in the game – the first of his career.

Lukas Morin has been selected as the SAA Defensive Player of the Week.

Morin led Trinity to a 38-35 overtime win over Berry. Morian finished with a career-high nine tackles in the game, as well as recording the first two interceptions of his career. Both interceptions came in the second quarter, and the second led directly to a touchdown drive that put Trinity in the lead 14-10 at the time.

SAA Special Teams Player of the Week - Tyler Huettel

For the third time in his career and second time this season,
Tyler Huettel has been selected as the SAA Special Teams Player of the Week.

Huettel kicked a 33-yard game-winning field goal in overtime to lift Trinity to the victory over Berry. He also hit all five of his extra-point attempts, which proved to be critical as the teams were knotted at 35-35 at the end of regulation. Huettel also had three punts for 128 yards in the game, including a 48-yard kick that pinned Berry inside the 10, and a long of 52 yards.

Preview - Prowling Into Arkansas

The Tigers will travel to Conway, Arkansas to play against Hendrix College on Saturday, November 2nd for a noon kickoff.Â

On the Hendrix Warriors: Hendrix currently holds a 3-5 record (1-4 in SAA) this season and sits last in the SAA rankings. Offensively, they rely heavily on quarterback Jacob Buniff, who has thrown for 2,137 yards and 21 touchdowns. Buniff's primary target, Kanyn Utley, is nearing 1,000 receiving yards for the season and has recorded over 100 yards in each of the last five games. Junior running back Auvic White leads the ground attack for the Warriors with 491 rushing yards so far this season.

Defensively, Hendrix has struggled throughout the season. The Warriors' defense has allowed at least 20 points in every game, with an average of 33 points given up per game. They are currently surrendering 415 yards of total offense per game and have shown vulnerability in stopping the run. Graduate linebacker Seth Hakanson leads the team in tackles with 55, while sophomore defensive lineman Tristian Johnson is the team's top pass rusher, recording 4.5 sacks.

In their last matchup, the Tigers dominated the Warriors with a decisive 56-7 victory. Trinity has won the last three meetings and holds a 5-2 all-time record against Hendrix.
