No. 13 Tiger Men's Soccer plays against Ozarks and Centenary this weekend.

Last weekend, the Tigers (13-0-3, 8-0-1 SCAC) won 4-0 against St. Thomas and tied 1-1 against fourth-ranked Colorado College.
JonConnor Rule (San Antonio, Texas / Johnson) opened the scoring with his third goal in three games.
Louis Instrall (London England / Hampton School) converted a wide free kick to double the lead early in the second half. Not long later,
Samuel Theiss (Boerne, Texas / Boerne) latched onto a bouncing ball in the Celts box to hit home his third goal of the season.
Alex Baltov (Shreveport, Louisiana / Caddo Parish Magnet) also scored to notch his first collegiate goal.
Hunter Cain (Katy, Texas / Cinco Ranch) had the lone goal for the Tigers against Colorado, converting from the spot.
Luke Mayfield (Dallas, Texas / JJ Pearce),
Ty Jarrett (Austin, Texas / Westlake),
Adam Knutson (Dripping Springs, Texas / Dripping Springs), and
Joey Perryman (Flower Mound, Texas / Flower Mound) all added assists. Trinity is now in a tie for first place in the SCAC standings with Colorado as both teams hold an 8-0-1 conference record.Â

United Soccer Coaches National Rankings - Tigers Jump To 13

In the national poll by the United Soccer Coaches, the Tigers are ranked 13th. This is the fourth time this season that Trinity has been placed into the national rankings and the highest ranking they have received this season. The University of Mary Washington is ranked first with Tufts in second. SCAC rival Colorado College is ranked 5th.

This weekend, the Tigers will play the University of the Ozarks on Friday, November 1st at 5:00 PM. Then, the team will play against Centenary on Sunday, November 3rd at 12:00 AM.

On the University of the Ozarks Eagles: The Eagles bring a 6-9-2 record (3-6 SCAC) into their matchup with the Tigers this Friday. The University of the Ozarks have struggled recently in the SCAC, getting shutout 2-0 and 4-0 in their last two games by Texas Lutheran and Southwestern respectively. Freshman forward Giovanni Casias leads the Eagles with five goals so far this season. Last time out, the Tigers beat Ozarks 5-1 in 2005.

On Centenary College (LA): Centenary moves into this weekend's matchup holding a 7-8-1 record (3-6 SCAC). With wins over Ozarks, McMurry and the University of Dallas in the SCAC, Centenary aren't messing about. Freshman forward Nathan Uduojie will hope to trouble the Tiger defense and add to his goal tally of six so far this year. The Tigers defeated Centenary 6-1 last year and hold a record of 18-0.
