No. 19 Tiger Men's Basketball rassles against Hardin-Simmons on Tuesday.
 
The Tigers (4-1) recently returned from their trip to California, where they split their games with a 73-71 victory over Pomona-Pitzer and an 87-65 loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Braxton Barry (Houston, Texas / Westbury Christian) delivered a game-saving block in the final seconds of regulation to secure the win against Pomona. Christian Green (San Antonio, Texas / Veterans Memorial) led the team with 40 total points on the trip, including an impressive 24-point performance against CMS. Jacob Harvey (Huffman, Texas / Hargrave) contributed 29 points over the two games.

In the national rankings by D3hoops.com, the Tigers are ranked 19th. The top three spots remain unchanged, with Trine securing the top position by earning 24 out of 25 first-place votes. WashU, Emory, Trinity (Conn.), and Illinois Wesleyan complete the top five. Future opponent Wisconsin Lutheran is ranked 9th, while St. Thomas and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps are both receiving votes.

The Tigers will play against the Cowboys of Hardin-Simmons in Abilene on Tuesday, December 10th at 7:00 PM.

They began with an 87-76 win over Texas Lutheran but have struggled against top SCAC teams like Schreiner and St. Thomas.
