The Rundown
It was a lovely day for a fun match of soccer as the Tiger entered into their second match of conference play in their new conference, the Southern Athletic Association. The Tigers came out strong and controlled the entirety of the match, outshooting the Vikings 23-6. The opponents only dangerous play came from a Hail Mary shot from afar, attempting to use the day's wind to carry it, leading to a brilliant save from goalkeeper
Lauren Little (Houston, Texas / Episcopal). Multiple chances were created through the entire forward line, with
Hanna Khan (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) leading the team with six shots in this match. Despite multiple chances put up, the Tigers were unable to convert. Though they fought till the last minute of play, the net was not on the Tigers side today, ending the match in a 0-0 draw.
