GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Trinity University men's soccer team had three players named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team® for the 2025 season.

Juniors Samuel Theiss (Boerne, Texas / Boerne) and Jason Sukow (Jacksonville Beach, Fla. / Reagan) were joined by sophomore Alex Baltov (Shreveport, La. / Caddo Parish Magnet) on the prestigious team for the first time in their respective careers.

Baltov and Sukow both earned spots on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll last season and have earned Trinity Dean's List honors twice. While Baltov was also an Honorable Mention All-Southern Athletic Association selection this season. Theiss was also on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll and the Trinity Dean's list in Spring 2025, collecting First Team All-SAA honors and leads the team with 15 goals and 32 points scored this season.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Led by Head Coach Paul McGinlay, the Tiger men's soccer team is 19-1-1 this season and has advanced to the NCAA Semifinals for the fourth time in school history and the first time since the 2007 season. Trinity will take on Emory University (GA) in the semifinals in Salem, Va., on Friday, December 5, at 6:30 p.m. (ET).
