On the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs: Following last weekend, the Bulldogs now hold a 6-15 overall record. After falling to the Tigers, they suffered another loss to Schreiner, 88-78, extending their losing streak to three games. Trinity's defense was a key factor in their victory, holding TLU's top scorers, Teddy Tapken and Trey Blackmore, scoreless as they went a combined 0-9 from the field. With this win, the Tigers improve their all-time record against the Bulldogs to 20-10.

On the Southwestern Pirates: The Pirates now hold a 2-19 overall record. Before falling to Trinity, they suffered a narrow 71-66 loss to Schreiner. Southwestern has now lost five straight games and sits at 2-10 in SCAC play. Trinity's defense played a key role, limiting top scorer Luke Hatcher to just three points. However, freshman guard Aedan Lewis made an impact, scoring 14 points in just 16 minutes of play. The Tigers will look to slow him down in their next matchup. With this win, Trinity improves its all-time record against Southwestern to 50-23.
