No. 24 Tiger Men's Basketball plays in their final regular season games of the 2024-25 season this weekend.
The Tigers (20-3, 13-1 SCAC) picked up two dominant wins on senior weekend. They opened the weekend with an 80-59 victory over Texas Lutheran and capped it off with a 94-63 win against Southwestern.
Jacob Harvey (Huffman, Texas / Hargrave) led Trinity with 35 total points, adding 10 three-pointers to his tally. Against Texas Lutheran,
Zach Fenn (Covington, Louisiana / Saint Paul's) tied his career-high with 10 points and recorded five steals over the weekend. In the Southwestern game,
Jacob Millhouse (Plano, Texas / Independence) nearly posted a double-double, finishing with 10 points and eight rebounds.
As a team, the Tigers rank 15th nationally in steals per game (11.6), 20th in turnovers forced per game (17.87), and 13th in winning percentage (87.0%). Individually, Harvey is ranked 14th in free throw percentage (89.5%), 5th in three-point attempts (206), and 12th in three-pointers per game (3.30%). Fenn is 13th in total steals (66) and 14th in steals per game (2.87%) and is currently on a 26-game steal streak dating back to February 18 of last season.

In the most recent national poll by D3hoops.com, the Tigers climbed one spot to rank 24th overall. Wesleyan (CT) holds the top spot, followed by NYU in second and UW-Platteville in third. Among regional rivals, Redlands is ranked 14th, Cal Lutheran is 23rd, and SCAC rival St. Thomas is 25th.
Preview - Final Regular Season Weekend
The Tigers will hit the road this weekend, starting with a matchup against St. Thomas in Houston on Friday, February 21st at 7:30 PM. After a travel day, Trinity will continue their road trip to Colorado Springs, where they will face Colorado College in their final regular-season game on Sunday, February 23rd at 2:00 PM (MT).
On the No. 25 St. Thomas Celts: This season, St. Thomas boasts a strong 21-2 overall record (13-1 in the SCAC). Their only two losses came against Mary Hardin-Baylor on December 3 and, most recently, a 78-76 defeat to Ozarks on Valentine's Day. The Celts excel defensively, ranking nationally 13th in scoring defense (62.9 points allowed per game), 18th in steals per game (10.9), and 12th in turnover margin (+5.7). Offensively, junior guard Angel Johnson leads the team with 13.7 points per game while shooting 51% from the field and 43% from three-point range. In their most recent meeting, the Tigers fell to St. Thomas 72-65 and currently hold an all-time record of 2-10 against the Celts.
On the Colorado College Tigers: The Tigers are currently 13-10 (9-5 SCAC) this season. After a tough 2-5 start, Colorado has bounced back with an 11-5 record, including a 5-1 mark in their last six games. Their most recent loss came at the hands of the University of Dallas, falling 66-64 on February 9th. The "Tigers of Black and Gold" are led by junior forward Asher Nofziger, who averages 17.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. In their most recent meeting, Colorado defeated Trinity 71-70, eliminating the Tigers from the SCAC tournament. Historically, Trinity holds a 28-13 advantage in the all-time series against Colorado.
