GREENWOOD, Ind. – Trinity University is thrilled to announce that Tiger women's basketball standouts Skye O'Rourke (Austin, Texas / Vandegrift) and Bailey Timmons (Argyle, Texas / Argyle) have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team. This distinguished recognition highlights their exceptional commitment to excellence both on the court and in the classroom.

The CSC Academic All-District® program honors student-athletes across the nation who have achieved remarkable success in athletics and academics, representing NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. O'Rourke and Timmons are among the elite group of honorees who embody the values of hard work, discipline, and achievement.

O'Rourke has helped the Tigers to two Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships and two NCAA Playoff appearances in her three years with the team. She has been named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll each of her first two seasons and was also selected for the All-SCAC Sportsmanship Team in 2023-24.

Timmons, one of two seniors on this year's Trinity team, has played a key role on three SCAC Championship teams and three teams making it to the NCAA Playoffs – including the 2022 NCAA Quarterfinals. She is a two-time All-SCAC Honorable Mention player who has also made the SCAC Academic Honor Roll three times. Timmons has earned CSC Academic All-District® honors for the second straight year.

Trinity finished the season with a 16-12 overall record and advanced to the Championship game of the SCAC Tournament.
