Three Tiger Women's Golfers Earn Academic Honors from CSC

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Trinity University women's golf team had three student-athletes earn Academic All-District® honors for the 2024-25 season, as announced by the College Sports Communicators this week.

Seniors Carmen Kennett (Missouri City, Texas / Ridge Point) and Kate Schulle (Cedar Park, Texas / Cedar Park) were joined by junior Jessica Mason (Westminster, Colo. / Holy Family) on the team and all three Tigers received the honor for the first time. Kennett and Schulle have made the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll every year, while Mason has made the conference list each of her two seasons at Trinity.

Trinity won its fifth straight SCAC Championship this season, qualifying for the NCAA Championships for the fourth consecutive year. The Tigers finished in a tie for 22nd as a team, while Mason made the cut as an individual and wound up 12th after the final round of play.

The 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
