KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Trinity University men's basketball team received the Team Academic Excellence Award and four players were named to the Honors Court, as announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Teams finishing the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher received the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, while the Honors Court was exclusive to juniors, seniors, or grad students who finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. More than 2,400 players and approximately 400 teams received the respective awards for this school year.

Tiger seniors Braxton Barry (Houston, Texas / Westbury Christian), Jacob Harvey (Huffman, Texas / Hargrave), Grant Jacobs (New Braunfels, Texas / New Braunfels), and Ty Williams (Pearland, Texas / Pearland) were all named to the Honors Court. All four were also recognized on the NABC Honors Court for the 2023-24 season.
