Last weekend
Amy Benson (Newmarket, N.H. / Phillips Exeter Academy) won female swimmer of the week for her performance against TCU. She began her meet with helping the 200 medley relay place third, and continued this streak with the 200 free relay which concluded the meet. Perhaps her most dominant performance was the 50 free, where she placed second with a time of 24.64. We can hope to see more of her sprinting skills in Kentucky this weekend. The male swimmer of the week was
Jack Hester (Round Rock, Texas / Cedar Ridge). Hester shared Benson's success in the relays, also helping the Tigers get third in both races. He additionally placed third in the 200 back, fighting back the competition with a time of 1:54.87. Hester has seen great successes in backstroke this season, and we hope to see more in the Colonel Classic. Additionally, both
Juliet Hood (Wexford, Pa. / North Allegheny) and
Max Rolla-Mullis (Ann Arbor, Mich. / Pioneer) received the title of diver of the week following TCU. They are both no strangers to this dual-meet dominance, and it will be exciting to see if they can continue it this weekend.

The Tigers are excited to get to compete in their top events this weekend, and to get a taste of what this pool will have to offer for conference in just over a month. This will be a great opportunity to practice their technical skills in the pool, and their drive to compete.

Looking Forward
Â
Next weekend, the Tigers will not only be back to classes, but they will end the weekend with a meet against Southwestern University. Trinity will face them again at SAA, so it's a great sneak peak of where they will stand for conference.
