Trinity Women's Soccer Back on The Road Against Sewanee and Maryville

Trinity Women's Soccer (11-0-1, 3-0-1 SAA) hits the road for its final away weekend of the regular season, traveling to Tennessee to face Sewanee (6-3-3, 2-1-1 SAA) on Friday before meeting Maryville College (4-4-4, 1-3 SAA) on Sunday.

Last week, the Tigers posted back-to-back shutouts over Alumni Weekend in their first SAA home matches of the season. They beat Berry 1-0, then put away  Oglethorpe with a four-goal first half in a 4-0 win to stay unbeaten.

Against Berry, Trinity broke through early in the 19th minute when when Alex Doran (Boerne, Texas / Geneva School of Boerne) dribbled across the top of the box and slotted a pass to Madisyn Barganski (Corpus Christi, Texas / Flour Bluff), who turned and ripped a near-post shot to put Trinity ahead 1-0. The Tigers nearly doubled the advantage late in the second half when Hailey Schlosser (San Jose, Calif. / Branham), used the wind to her favor to curl the shot over the Berry keeper, but the goal was waved off on an offsides call, and the 1-0 score held.

Against Oglethorpe, Doran opened the scoring in the 13th minute, one-timing a cross from Barganski into the back of the net. Lila Brackin (Dallas, Texas / Lake Highlands)  extended the lead in the 22nd minute off of an assist from Erin O'Donnell (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) before Talia Camin (Houston, Texas / Memorial) capped her first collegiate goal off of a rebound in the 29th minute. Finally, Lilly Fant  (Crownsville, Md. / Old Mill) capped the scoring at 4-0 in the 40th minute, heading home a corner kick that Schlosser lofted to the back post.
