SAN ANTONIO – Head Coach Marwan Elrakabawy and the Trinity University men's basketball team welcome nine newcomers for the 2026-27 season, looking to build on last year's team that finished 22-7 overall and 12-2 in Southern Athletic Association play.

The Tigers finished as the runner-up in the SAA Tournament last season and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Playoffs. Trinity defeated Whitworth University (WA) 71-63 before falling 75-58 to the University of St. Thomas (TX) in the NCAA Second Round.
