INDIANAPOLIS – Trinity University added two more NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipients to its 2025-26 school year, bringing the total to five Tiger honorees this season.
Jessica Mason (Westminster, Colo. / Holy Family) from the women's golf team and
Bocar Diagana (Edina, Minn. / Edina) from the men's track & field team both wrapped up their careers at Trinity with the prestigious scholarship.
The NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship is awarded to student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically while demonstrating leadership and a commitment to community service. Trinity's honorees represent the university's continued tradition of excellence across all facets of the student-athlete experience.
Mason earned All-America honors for the fourth time in her career in 2026, qualifying as an individual for the NCAA Championships. She finished fourth at the tournament for the best finish in Trinity University golf history. Mason was the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2024 and 2025, then earned the Co-Player of the Year honor in Trinity's first season in the Southern Athletic Association.
Diagana picked up his second All-America award this year, finishing 16th in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. He also just missed getting a third award in the outdoor season, finishing 17th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Diagana finished his career as the Tiger record-holder in the triple jump.
Trinity wrapped up its first season in the SAA by winning the Commissioner's Cup, while also finishing 14th in the Learfield Directors' Cup – its best finish since the 2007-08 season.
The NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship will support each recipient as they pursue advanced degrees and continue their academic and professional journeys.
