GILBERT, Ariz. – The Trinity University men's and women's tennis teams were both honored as All-Academic Teams by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, while 10 individuals were also recognized as Scholar-Athletes.
Teams must have a GPA of at least 3.2 during the 2025-26 season, while individuals needed to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or better during the academic year. There were more than 1,300 individual women and 177 women's teams across all divisions that earned the honor. More than 1,100 men's individuals and 147 men's teams achieved the necessary results in the classroom.
There were six Tiger women and four Tiger men who made this year's list. Seniors
Aashish Dhanani (Austin, Texas / Westwood) and
Conor Kaczmarczyk (Aurora, Colo. / Regis Jesuit) were joined by junior
Ivan Nikolovski (Alpine, N.J. / Dwight Global) and sophomore
Roshin Kamath (League City, Texas / Clear Springs) on this year's list for Trinity's men. The Trinity women's honorees were junior
Rosabella Andrade (Southlake, Texas / Carroll), sophomores
Lucy Nabedrick (Plymouth, Minn. / Wayzata),
Katie Schmidt (Prairie Village, Kan. / Shawnee Mission East), and
Lauren Tin (Austin, Texas / Vandegrift), and first-years
Astrid Kerrman (Edina, Minn. / Edina) and
Eva Kovachev (Arlington, Texas / The Oakridge School).
Andrade picks up her second straight ITA Scholar-Athlete award and is the only repeat winner for the Tiger women. The Trinity men's team had two repeat winners as Nikolovski received the award for the third time in his career, while Dhanani has been named an ITA Scholar-Athlete four times.
