Five Tiger Baseball Players Earn CSC Academic Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators announced the Academic All-District© Baseball Team for the 2026 season, which included five Trinity University baseball players.

The Tiger honorees were sophomore third baseman Grant Anderson (Austin, Texas / Vista Ridge), sophomore first baseman Will Baker (Missouri City, Texas / Ridge Point), sophomore shortstop John Ramsey (Austin, Texas / Westwood), sophomore pitcher Will Taylor (Greenwood Village, Colo. / Cherry Creek), and junior outfielder Kaleb Woodward (San Pedro, Calif. / Palos Verdes Peninsula).

Woodward is the only repeat winner among the five Tiger players as the other four became eligible just this season. Woodward is a three-time member of the Academic Honor Roll, while Anderson, Ramsey, and Taylor have earned the award twice. Anderson and Ramsey were also included on the Trinity Dean's List for the Spring 2026 semester, with Baker and Taylor making the Fall 2025 Dean's List earlier this school year.

The Tigers completed the season with a 25-19 record that included a 14-7 record in the Southern Athletic Association. That conference record secured the SAA Regular Season Championship and the top seed at the SAA Tournament.
