Scouting the Course: The Lighthouse Country Club in Kingsland, Texas is one of Hill Country's hidden golf gems. The course features 18 scenic holes that highlight the shores of Lake LBJ, oak trees, and viewpoints of Packsaddle Mountain. Playing 6485 yards at a par 71, the course was redesigned and enhanced by Rick and Mercy Howe in 2011. While shorter in length, this course demands precision off the tee and smart course management. Long hitters will have to stay cautious off the tee and hone in their accuracy to set up for birdie opportunities.

Looking Ahead

The Tigers will play in their home event, The Carla Spenkoch Invitational, from October 12 - 13, at The Quarry Golf Course in San Antonio, Texas.
