Bryan Dausin

Bryan Dausin returns for his fourth season on the Trinity University football coaching staff in 2024, continuing to work with the defensive line. 

Coach Dausin has had seven defensive linemen earn All-SAA honors over the past two seasons, including three D3football.com All-Region performers in Harris Good, Jacob Munoz, and Mac Douglas. Munoz was also named a 3rd Team All-American in 2023.

Coach Dausin brings three years of professional playing experience and over 35 years of coaching experience to the table. Dausin played football at Texas A&M University from 1978-82 before graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education/Health Education in 1984. Dausin was a free agent offensive lineman in 1983 with the Houston Oilers. He then went on to the USFL for two seasons from 1984-85 with the Houston Gamblers and Denver Gold. 

Coach Dausin started his coaching career as an assistant coach in San Antonio Northeast ISD from 1985. While coaching he earned his Master’s degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M Kingsville in 1993. He was a head football coach/Athletic Coordinator from 1994-96 at Theodore Roosevelt high school where he won the Division II State Championship in 1995. From 1997-2018 Dausin was the Head Football coach at John Marshall and Earl Warren high school. During that time, he served as the Texas High School Coaches Association Director from 2007-05. From 2018-19, he served as the Defensive Line Coach at Texas Lutheran University. Dausin then spent two seasons at Antonian College Prep 2020-2021 as the Defensive Coordinator.  Coach Dausin was inducted into the THSCA Hall of Honor in 2023.
