Mauro Rodriguez brings more than 14 years of coaching experience across various levels of football to the Trinity football team, coaching tight ends for the Tigers for the 2026 season.
Rodriguez spent the last two years as the Athletic Director at Compass Rose Ingenuity Secondary School, but began his coaching career at the New Braunfels Christian Academy, serving as the Defensive Coordinator for seven seasons that included three State Championship appearances. He went on to serve as the AD and Head Football Coach at St. Gerard Catholic High School and was the Head Football and Baseball Coach at Our Lady of Atonement Catholic Academy. Rodriguez also spent a year at TMI Episcopal Middle School, leading the team to an undefeated season and the STFC Championship.
Rodriguez earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tamaulipas.
