Quentin Carter joined the Trinity football coaching staff during the Spring 2024 semester, and will continue to coach special teams and defensive backs for the Tigers for his second season in 2025.Â
In his first season with Trinity, Coach Carter saw four different defensive backs earn All-Southern Athletic Association honors.
Coach Carter comes to Trinity from the University of Kansas, where he served as an assistant coach with the defensive backs in 2023. He  also coached two seasons as an inside linebackers coach at the University of Nebraska in 2021 and 2022. Coach Carter coached the 2019 season at St. Ambrose University, which is an NAIA school in Davenport, Iowa. He coached the spring season of the 2020-21 school year at Northwestern State University (LA) as an assistant defensive backs coach.
Carter played college football as an outside linebacker and safety at Kansas Wesleyan University, helping the team to a 40-9 record. He then began his coaching career KWU in 2018.
