Priscilla Riser

Priscilla Riser joins the Trinity University Softball staff as the Pitching Coach ahead of the 2026 season, bringing with her over a decade of elite coaching experience and a track record of developing championship-level athletes. Known for her energetic and strategic approach, Riser adds veteran leadership to the Tigers’ coaching staff.

Before coming to Trinity, Riser served as the Head Softball Coach at St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas, where she led the program to unprecedented success. Under her guidance, St. Agnes won the 2024 State Championship, reached the state finals three times, captured four district titles, and was twice named district runner-up. For her efforts, Riser was honored as the 2024 Houston Chronicle Coach of the Year, and her squad was recognized as the 2024 VYPE Houston Team of the Year. Beyond her high school coaching accomplishments, Riser also worked as a Travel Softball Coach with the Texas Bombers Gold 18U – National Team, helping them to a TFL National Runner-Up finish. She currently serves as a Professional Director of Pitching Instruction for West University Softball and continues to consult with athletes across the country through Paisley’s Pitching.

Riser’s playing career began on a full athletic scholarship at Blinn College, where she competed as a collegiate pitcher before earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Sports Science from Texas State University in 2010. She specialized in Physical and Health Education and minored in English, building a foundation for both athletic development and academic instruction.
In addition to her coaching career, Riser is a certified educator in multiple disciplines, including Physical Education, Health, Communication Applications, and Speech. She holds certifications in First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross and brings classroom leadership experience from her time teaching and coaching in North East ISD, Judson ISD, and Bandera ISD
