Annie Wise '21 enters her second year as the Assistant Coach for Trinity Women's Tennis when the 2023-24 season starts up. 

Coach Wise was hired following her senior season with Trinity University Women's Tennis program as its Assistant Coach for the 2021-22 season. The 2020 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete will assist Head Coach Drew Cohn in his fourth season at the helm for the Tigers. 

Wise graduated in the spring of 2021 with a bachelor's in Business Marketing. Following her undergrad, she completed both her masters and doctorate from Oklahoma State University in Aviation and Space Science in 2023. 

Entering her third season on staff, Wise played a key role in helping the Tigers win consecutive Southern Collegiate Athletics Conference Championships in the spring of 2022 and 2023. In her coaching career, Wise has already coached 5 ITA All-Americans and helped the Tigers achieve a national ranking of #14 in the country. 

During her time at Trinity, Wise competed all four years on both the women’s tennis and women’s basketball teams and won 5 SCAC championships as a player.  

A native of Tulsa Oklahoma, she is the middle daughter of Matt and Jennifer Wise and has two sisters, Audrey and Abby. In her spare time, Annie enjoys flying and holds a private pilot’s license with an instrument rating. She has spent many summers in her hometown volunteering with special needs adults through the Pathways Adult Learning Center and teaching tennis to kids from underprivileged backgrounds.
