Beau Rodriguez will enter his third year as an Assistant Coach with the Tiger volleyball team in the 2021 season. He is a veteran volleyball coach at the collegiate and club levels, chalking up 10 years experience.

Rodriguez was an assistant volleyball coach and recruiting coordinator at San Antonio’s Our Lady of the Lake University from 2017-2018. The versatile Coach Rodriguez was head volleyball coach and director of athletics at Gloria Deo Academy, located in Bulverde, Texas, from 2015-2017.  Coach Rodriguez previously was a coach with Ignite Volleyball in Bulverde and worked as a recreation instructor for the City of New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in 2012, majoring in sports science with a minor in mathematics. Coach Rodriguez was president of the Texas State men’s volleyball club during his undergraduate days. He went on to earn a master’s from Texas State in 2015 in recreation and leisure service management with a focus in recreation administration.
