Marisa Amarino is in her second season as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Trinity University during the 2025 season. A former team captain and All-American setter, Amarino has played a key role in Trinity’s continued national success, working closely with setters and contributing to game planning, training, and player development for one of Division III’s premier programs.
Marisa is also in her first year as the Athletics Event Management Coordinator. In her role, is responsible for assisting in managing event operations for all athletic and non-athletic events conducted in Trinity University Athletic venues and department.
One of the most decorated players in program history, Amarino was a three-time team captain (2021–23) and earned AVCA All-American Honorable Mention and First Team All-Region honors in 2023, along with SCAC Setter of the Year recognition. She was a four-time All-SCAC selection and a two-time SCAC All-Tournament honoree, while also earning spots on multiple NCAA All-Tournament teams, including the 2022 NCAA Championship run. Amarino helped lead Trinity to four straight NCAA Regional Championships, two NCAA Semifinal appearances, and a national runner-up finish in 2022, while ranking seventh in program history in career assists.
Amarino also excelled in the classroom, earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors twice and being named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll five times. A graduate of Trinity University, she continues to translate her elite playing experience, leadership background, and academic discipline into her coaching role, helping guide the next generation of Tigers both on and off the court.
