position in the SCAC Championship, and will host the four-team
tournament May 2-4. The defending conference champions take on
fourth-seeded Southwestern University in the first round at 1:00
p.m. on May 2.
Trinity opened the doubleheader with a four-run
first inning, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Colin Serkowski.
The big inning for the Tigers was the five-run fifth, sparked by a
two-RBI single from Jeremy Wolf.
Wolf batted 3-4 with three RBI, and Pat
Hirschberg also drove in three runs. Serkowski went 2-3 with two
RBI, and Christian Muscarello crossed the plate three times for the
Tigers.

run, four hits, and two walks. Clayton Freimuth and Matt Abrahams
entered in relief.
The see-saw second game had the Tigers leading
2-0 after the top of the second inning. Chris Bianchi and Connor
Moore each drove in runs. Centenary countered with a run in the
bottom half of the inning, and produced two more in the third to
take a 3-2 lead. An RBI double in the fifth gave the Gents a 4-2
advantage.
Muscarello cracked an RBI single in the seventh,
but Centenary answered with a run-scoring triple. Trinity's
last score of the game came in the eighth inning, on an unearned
run by Jules Cronk.
Bianchi had two RBI in the game, and Cronk
scored two of the team's runs. Michael Walker (4-2) took the loss,
allowing two earned runs. Carter Lauck was the relief pitcher in
the fifth inning.

Tuesday in Belton, Texas, with a 7:00 p.m. game against the
University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The game was originally scheduled
for April 15, but was postponed because of the weather.
