San Antonio - The Trinity duo of first year Hao Nguye and sophomore Christian Settle have been tabbed as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for the second time this season.

The talented pair played major roles in 13th-ranked Trinity's two home victories last weekend. The Tigers started with a 5-4 decision over St. Edward's (TX) University, ranked 13th in Division II. The second match of the weekend resulted in a 9-0 win over Division III member McMurry (TX) University.

Settles and Nguyen won the second line of doubles 8-7 against St. Edward's, which staked Trinity to a 2-1 lead after the tandem competition. The second line of doubles also went to Settles and Nguyen in the match with McMurry, as the Tiger pair remained undefeated as a team at 5-0.

Trinity stands at 4-6 overall and is 3-1 against Division III opponents. This weekend, Trinity will host three matches against D-III teams, starting Saturday morning with 39th-ranked California Lutheran University. Later in the day the Tigers take on Concordia (TX) University. Pomona-Pitzer (CA) Colleges, ranked 16th, comes to campus Sunday for an afternoon matchup.
