SAN ANTONIO - Tiger Women's Soccer rounded out their non-conference schedule with an impressive 4-0 victory over the Bulldogs of Texas Lutheran on Sunday afternoon.

The RundownÂ
Â
The Tigers offense was ready to get the party started after being shut out in their previous game when
Abby Schneider (Albuquerque, New Mexico / Bosque School) got behind the Bulldog defense off of a
Bailey Meyer (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) pass and knocked in a beautiful header to put the Tigers up 1-0 just six minutes into the game. The Tigers didn't stop there. With just three minutes left in the half,
Malea Cesar (Portland, Oregon / Sunset) sent a rocket ball to the back post and found a stampeding Meyer for a header into the top corner of the goal to bring the score to 2-0. You know what they say, three's a crowd. So it was time for the Tigers to have a crowd as just the Tigers took away a Bulldog free kick and Cesar found a wide-open
Madisyn Barganski (Corpus Christi, Texas / Flour Bluff)for a cross shot past the dive of the goalkeeper to put the Tigers up 3-0.Â
Â
The second half was quiet for the Tigers, but not silent. Nine minutes into the second half,
Taylor Campbell (Edinburg, Texas / Robert Vela) would put an excellent chip shot to the back of the net to bring the score to 4-0, Tigers. For the rest of the second half, it would be all defense. The Tigers would only allow the Bulldogs two shots on goal and would save both. As the buzzer sounded, it was clear that the Tigers were the winner. The Tigers would take the match by a score of 4-0.
