ARLINGTON, Texas – Trinity University Men's Tennis fell, 0-7, to host NCAA I University of Texas at Arlington on Saturday.
The doubles team composed of first-year
Aashish Dhanani (Austin, Texas / Westwood) and sophomore
Eric Liao (Taipei, Taiwan / Boca Prep [FL]) secured the Tigers' only win of the day against the Mavericks, an impressive 6-3 for it only being the duo's second time playing together in competition this season.
UT-Arlington is the fifth non-NCAA III opponent that Trinity has faced this season, adding to their strong schedule. The Tigers have an impressive 3-0 record against their NCAA III competition thus far with their latest wins being a pair of sweeps against fellow SCAC teams – Texas Lutheran University and University of St. Thomas.
