GREENSBORO, N.C. – No. 16 Trinity University Women's Swimming & Diving collected another second-team All-American performance in the 2023 NCAA III Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center Friday, this time through the 800 yard freestyle relay.
The quartet of junior
Emma Hagan (Overland Park, Kan. / Olathe East) and first-years
Neely Burns (Phoenix, Ariz. / Thunderbird),
Audrey Jacobson (Dallas, Texas / School for the Talented & Gifted) and
Erica Peterson (Lantana, Texas / Guyer) finished the event in 7:37.02, good for eighth in the morning session of the event and 16
th overall.
Sophomores
Alexis Radhakrishnan (Lexington, Ky. / Paul Laurence Dunbar) and
Josie Gillentine (Heath, Texas / Rockwall Heath) round out the Trinity representatives in Friday's competition:
- Radhakrishnan took on the one-meter board Friday afternoon, collecting a score of 370.30 for 19th in the event.
- Gillentine clocked a 1:05.28 in the 100 yard breaststroke, good for 25th in the morning's trial.

Two more individual events and the final relay of the weekend will include four members of No. 16 Trinity Women's Swimming & Diving.
Hagan will compete in the 100 yard freestyle that kicks off the final day of action at the NCAA III Championships. Hagan qualified with her time of 51.12 that places her 18th coming into the weekend.
Burns will swim her final individual event as well, competing in the 200 yard breaststroke. Burns is 14th nationally with her time of 2:17.35 in the event.

Caroline Myers (Austin, Texas / Bowie) will team up for the 400 yard freestyle relay to close out the 2023 meet. The four Trinity swimmers posted a time of 3:28.51 to snag the 17th spot nationally.
