Trinity Women's Soccer Wins SCAC Road Game at University of Dallas

Dallas - The Trinity women's soccer team maintained their position atop the SCAC standings with a 4-0 win at University of Dallas on Friday evening.

The Tigers (9-1-2) are yet to concede a goal in conference play this year, having kept an impressive 11 clean sheets in 12 games all year.

The Rundown

Trinity picked up where they left off last weekend, coming out strong on the offensive side of the ball. Senior forward Michaela Bosco (Weatherford, Texas / Weatherford) continued her goal scoring form and put the Tigers in front inside 20 minutes, her third goal in four games. Bosco then turned provider as she crossed the ball in from the right side to find Bri Werner (Woodbine, Md. / Glenelg) who made no mistake and converted to make it 2-0 to Trinity. This was Bosco's tenth assist of the season, which places her in the top ten nationally for assists per game.

With half-time looming, the Tigers scored a third goal in the 40th minute as Kate Askew (Dallas, Texas / Urusuline Academy) found Hanna Khan (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) who's long range effort found the top corner for her second goal in two games, giving Trinity a 3-0 lead at the half.

Trinity added another goal in the final 20 minutes of the game as Maya Ozymy (Dallas, Texas /  Coppell) was first to react to a save by the Crusaders' goalkeeper and finished from close range to convert her second goal of the season. The Tiger's defense was as secure as ever, with goalkeeper Lauryn Lewis (Carrollton, Texas / Creekview) recording two saves and her 11th shutout of the season.
