Trinity University Women's Hoops gets a rematch against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor tomorrow.

The Tigers (3-1) are coming off three impressive victories during their trip to California. They started with a 79-73 win over Whittier, followed by a 58-52 victory against the University of Redlands, and capped off the trip with an 82-61 triumph over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

The backcourt duo of
Kylie Minter (League City, Texas / Clear Springs) and
Josie Napoli (Beaverton, Oregon / Valley Catholic) led the way, combining for 107 points over the three games. Minter recorded a career-high 27 points in the win over Redlands. The Tigers shot over 40 percent from the field in each game and appear well-prepared for their rematch against UMHB.

Minter led the Trinity women's basketball team to three straight road wins in California last weekend, defeating Whitter, Redlands, and Claremont. Minter averaged 20.0 points per game over the three contests, shooting 56.4 percent (22-of-39) from the field, 38.9 percent (7-of-18) from three-point range, and 75.0 percent (9-of-12) from the foul line. She also averaged 4.3 rebounds per game, 3.3 assists per game, and 3.3 steals per game. Minter began the week by hitting back-to-back three-pointers in the fourth quarter to cut the Whittier lead to just one point with under six minutes to play, helping to lead a rally from a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to win the game. Two nights later against Redlands, she had a career-high 27 to lead another comeback. Down 11 in the third quarter, Minter and the Tigers came all the way back for a six-point win. Minter scored 14 of her 27 points in the final quarter, and in fact, scored the final 14 points for the entire Trinity team in the game. She also had five rebounds and six steals in the game, committing just one turnover as she shot 9-of-14 overall and 7-of-10 at the foul line against the Bulldogs.

The Tigers will get their second shot of the season against UMHB on Wednesday, December 4th at 5:00 PM in Belton, Texas.Â

On the Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders: The Crusaders hold a 4-1 record this season. They opened with a 58-45 victory over Trinity, followed by consecutive wins against Southwestern and Schreiner. However, UMHB suffered their first loss in an 81-58 blowout against Colorado College. They quickly rebounded with a dominant 76-43 win over Nebraska Wesleyan University.

The Crusaders' success relies heavily on forwards Josie Bruder and Adyson James, who both average over 10 points per game. While UMHB is shooting just 36 percent from the field, they are limiting opponents to a .281 shooting percentage, ranking fourth nationally. In their last matchup, UMHB held Trinity to just 45 points on 24 percent shooting. Historically, the Tigers have a 17-4 record against the Crusaders.
