KERRVILLE - No. 14 Tiger Women's Tennis decimates Schreiner on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Tigers (6-0) earned the 9-0 win. The Tigers won 60 games to Schreiner's 16. In doubles, the duo of Ruth Hill (Abilene, Texas / Abilene) and Olivia Kim (Phoenix, Arizona / Desert Mountain) picked up the 8-2 win in the #1 doubles. Rebecca Stepleman (Atlanta, Georgia / Georgia Connections) and Elodie Richard (Allen, Texas / Allen) also won their #2 doubles match 8-2. Costanza Gomez (San Jose, Costa Rica / Blue Valley School) and Sam Miller (Georgetown, Texas / Georgetown) won the #3 doubles, also with an 8-2 score. 
 
For the singles competition, Hill won the #1 singles with both sets ending 6-4. Stepleman dominated in the #2 spot with a 6-0 win and a 6-3 win. Richard had the biggest blowout of the evening, shutting out the Schreiner #3 singles player 6-0. Trinity Hatchett (Pearland, Texas / Dawson) picked up a 6-3 and 6-2 win in #4 singles. For #5 singles, Allesandra Ceccarelli (Johannesburg, South Africa / ES American School BCN) won 6-3 and 6-1. To round off the singles, Brooke Belitz (Scottsdale, Arizona / Notre Dame Prep) had a near shutout with a 6-0 and 6-1 win for #6 singles.
