The Trinity University Swimming & Diving teams jump into their 2025-26 season!
Last season, the Tigers continued their dominance in the pool. Not only did the Tigers secure another SCAC Championship, but they also sent seven swimmers to the NCAA National Championships. At nationals, five different swimmers earn CSCAA All-American Status.
Amy Benson (New Market, New Hampshire / Phillips Exeter Academy) brought in the awards. Not only did she win the SCAC Championship in eight events but was also All-American in two. She was also named SCAC Swimmer of the Meet and SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Year.
Luke Fender (Jackson, Mississippi / St. Andrew's Episcopal) was also showered with awards. Fender brought home five SCAC Championships and was also a CSCAA All-American in two events. Head Coach

This Season
The Tigers will open their season on the road against the University of St. Thomas on October 18. They'll then host UT Permian Basin on November 1 before heading to Chicago for the D3 Shootout on November 7–8. That same weekend, another group of Tigers will compete in Geneseo, New York, on November 8. Trinity will wrap up November by hosting the annual Tiger Invitational from November 21–23.

After the new year, the Tigers will travel to Fort Worth to face TCU on January 3, then return home the next day to take on Oklahoma Christian on January 4. The following weekend, they'll compete at the Colonel Classic on January 9–10, followed by a road contest against Southwestern on January 17. Trinity will close out its regular season at home against the University of the Incarnate Word on January 24 at Hixon Natatorium.

Championship competition begins February 11–14 with the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships hosted by Centre College. The season will culminate at the NCAA Championships, held March 18–21 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
SAA Preseason Poll - Tigers on Top
In both the men's and women's swimming & diving preseason polls, the Tigers were picked to finish first.

In the women's poll, Trinity earned 48 points and six first-place votes to claim the top spot. Centre College followed with 40 points and one first-place vote, while Rhodes placed third with 39 points. Southwestern came in fourth with 32 points, followed by Sewanee (29), Berry (25), and Millsaps (18).

On the men's side, the Tigers also led the preseason rankings with 47 points and five first-place votes. Rhodes was close behind with 43 points and two first-place votes, while Centre ranked third with 37 points. Berry finished fourth with 31 points, followed by Southwestern (28), Sewanee (27), and Millsaps (18).
Preview - Opening WeekendÂ

The Tigers will face off against the University of St. Thomas on Saturday, October 18th. Last time, the Tigers dominated the Celts over two days. On day two of last year's meet, The Tigers women won all of the events and relays, spreading their individual event winners across six different swimmers. Trinity also won both the 200 medley relay that opened the meet and the 200 free relay that capped off the evening. Also, Trinity men won all but one of the events during day two of the meet, including two mixed relay victories.

The Tigers host their Alumni Meet on October 25th before hosting UT-Permian Basin on November 1st.
