#15 Trinity University Baseball continues its conference road trip with a three-game series against Concordia in Austin, Texas.

The Tigers (6-0, 6-0 SCAC) kept the brooms out and swept Texas Lutheran in Seguin with impressive performances.
Nicholas Jones (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) continues to lead the conference in batting average after batting .416 (5-12) with 5 RBI.
Jace Clay (Missouri City, Texas / Strake Jesuit) pieced together a clutch performance that helped give the Tigers a chance to win in game 2, throwing 7 strong innings where he allowed no earned runs on one hit and struck out 9 Bulldogs to earn the win.
Trajan Lee (Dallas, Texas / John Paul II) also had a stellar start on the mound for the Ambush, striking out 10 Bulldogs over 7 innings in which he only allowed one earned run.

The Tigers hit the road once again, traveling to Austin, Texas to play Concordia, with games scheduled for Friday, February 28th at 6 PM, Saturday, March 1st at noon, and Sunday, March 2nd at noon.

On The Concordia University Tornados: Concordia is cruising to start the 2025 season, stringing together impressive wins to claim a 7-2 (4-2 SCAC) record. The Tornados claimed their first SCAC series win with a sweep of Schreiner where they averaged 10.6 runs a game. Junior Outfielder/First Baseman Landon Hyle has shown himself to be award-worthy with the stick in his hands. The reigning SCAC hitter of the week is currently hitting .435 with 13 RBI and a home run. Graduate Student pitcher Otto Franz has also put up award-worthy performances and will be an arm the Tigers have to watch out for. He holds an ERA of 3.00 and has yet to take a loss this season, although he did struggle in his most recent outing against Schreiner. The Tigers split a home and away midweek season series against the Tornados last year. Historically, the Tigers have a 17-15 record against the Tornados.

Trinity will play their first midweek and non-conference game on the road against Hardin-Simmons University on Wednesday, March 5th. The Tigers will come back home to play the other team from Abilene, McMurry University, in a SCAC series from March 7th to March 9th.
