GREENWOOD, Ind. – Trinity University proudly announces that Tiger men's basketball player Carter Ruck (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) has been recognized as a 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® honoree. This prestigious acknowledgment celebrates Ruck's exceptional achievements both on the court and in the classroom, reflecting the values of excellence and dedication that Trinity University stands for.

The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes top student-athletes nationwide for their combined performances in athletics and academics across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Ruck's selection to the Academic All-District® team places him among an elite group of collegiate athletes who exemplify the highest standards of success in their dual pursuits.

Ruck was named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll in his first season with the team in 2023-24. He played in all 27 games for the Tigers this season, starting 10 of those, and averaging just under five points per game in 14.4 minutes per game. Trinity finished the season with a 22-5 record and reached the SCAC Championship game.
