Â
The Tigers (21-6, 16-2 SCAC) won their most recent series against Dallas 2-1, dropping game one before winning games two and three to win the series.
Kai Tinker (Simi Valley, Calif / Grace Brethren) was key to the Tigers' success, slashing .545 (6-11) with three doubles and six RBI in the series.
Nicholas Jones (Southlake, Texas / Carroll) made a triumphant return to the diamond for the Tigers, batting .444 (4-9) with two RBI and six drawn walks, which included a four walk performance in game two that tied the program single game walks record.

SCAC Player of the Week
Â
Trajan Lee (Dallas, Texas / John Paul II) won SCAC pitcher of the week for his performance against the University of Dallas. This is the second time Lee has won this honor this season.
Â
Per SCAC Release:
Â
Lee led seventh-ranked Trinity to a SCAC road weekend series win at the University of Dallas, taking two out of the three games. Lee struck out nine batters and issued just one walk during a one-hit shutout in game two of the Saturday doubleheader. That performance was crucial after the Tigers lost the opening game of the series, and the win propelled the team to outscore the Crusaders 24-1 over the final two games. Lee improved to 6-0 this season with the win and his nine strikeouts are his second-highest total of the season.

Â
On The Schreiner University Mountaineers: The Mountaineers have been on the struggle bus this season, accruing an 8-19 (6-15 SCAC) record so far. Schreiner was swept at St. Thomas last weekend in a series that saw them unable to recover from big deficits in every game. The hot pink bat of junior infielder Blake Juarez will pose a threat to the Tiger pitching staff. He's slashing .341 with 27 RBI, three home runs, and has struck out just four times this season. Fito Mendez has been an effective pitcher for the Mountaineers this season, posting a team leading ERA of 4.88 in his 24 innings of work. Trinity won the series in Kerrville last year 2-1 and holds a 55-20 record against the Mountaineers all time.
Â
