10 Cross Country and Track & Field Athletes Earn CSC Academic Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Trinity University's men's and women's cross country and track & field teams had 10 student-athletes awarded Academic All-District® honors from the College Sports Communicators for the 2024-25 school year.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track& field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.

Graduate student Danya Selber (Edinburg, Texas / Robert Vela) and senior CC Gray (Scottsdale, Ariz. / Notre Dame Prep) were joined by juniors Lillian Broussard (Houston, Texas / National Christian) and Josette Gurule (Santa Fe, N.M. / Academy for Technology and the Classics), along with sophomore Cali Good (Yucaipa, Calif. / Yucaipa) from the Tiger women's track & field and cross country teams. On the men's side, seniors Nicolas Ladreyt (Santa Monica, Calif. / Harvard-Westlake), Ryan Tresaugue (Spring, Texas / The Woodlands), Jared Gallagher (Ft. Worth, Texas / Southwest Christian), and Pierce Jackson (Addison, Texas / Dallas Jesuit) were joined by junior Thomas Melina Raab (Austin, Texas / McCallum) on the team.

Gallagher, Gray, and Tresaugue are now three-time Academic All-District® honorees, having earned the honor each of the previous two years. Ladreyt and Selber both secured the award for the second time, while Broussard, Good, Gurule, Jackson, and Melina Raab are all first-time winners. All 10 were among more than 200 Trinity student-athletes that were named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll for their performance in the classroom during the Spring 2025 semester and seven of the 10 were recognized on the Trinity Dean's List over the past year.
