Trinity University Football set to play in their first home game of the season against Belhaven.
Â
Last time out, the Tigers (1-0) went to the doghouse and defeated Texas Lutheran 26-14.
Xae Huerta (San Antonio, Texas / Jay) carried the ball 17 times for 120 yards and a pair of scores. He is Trinity's first 100-yard rusher since
Winston Hutchison ran for 150+ yards against Millsaps College (MS) in 2021.
Judson Crockett (Austin, Texas / Westlake) led the Tiger defense with six tackles along with an interception and a pass breakup. His interception came with just over three minutes left in the game, ruining what turned out to be the final drive of the night for the Bulldogs offense.
