Cross Country Teams and Individuals Receive Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS – The Trinity University men's and women's cross country teams and six individuals were recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their academic excellence during the Fall 2025 semester.

To qualify, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 or higher, and individuals must have a GPA of at least 3.30 or better while also finishing in the top 25 percent of the NCAA Regional Championships to earn All-Academic distinction.

First-year Elijah Bliss (Garden Ridge, Texas / Davenport) and senior Logan Nasky (Irving, Texas / MacArthur) from the Tiger men's team were joined by junior Cali Good (Yucaipa, Calif. / Yucaipa), junior Sophia Munoz (Austin, Texas / Austin), sophomore Anne Snider (Waco, Texas / Live Oak Classical), and sophomore Emerson Voldan (Arlington, Texas / Mansfield Summit) from Trinity's women's team. This is the first All-Academic award for all six Tiger student-athletes.

Both Trinity teams won the Southern Athletic Association in their first seasons of competition in the conference. The 26th-ranked Tiger women finished fourth at the Regional Championships and qualified for the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2017. Trinity finished 27th at this year's national meet
