LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Two Trinity University junior softball players have been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region Team for the 2026 season.

Hannah Boudreaux (Pearland, Texas / Shadow Creek) earned a spot on the All-Region Second Team and pitcher
Megan Kriechbaum (Cedar Hills, Utah / Pleasant Grove) was voted to the All-Region Third Team.
Kriechbaum was the 2026 SAA Pitcher of the Year, finishing with a 12-5 overall record and an ERA of 2.63 this season. She made 22 starts and appeared in 31 games for the Tigers, recording three shutouts and four complete games, as well as picking up two saves. Kriechbaum struck out 108 batters in 112.0 innings this season, holding opposing hitters to a .229 batting average. She is the sixth player in school history to record 100 or more strikeouts in a single season and her 108 this year are the most for a Tiger pitcher since 2016, ranking seventh all-time at Trinity.
Boudreaux was an All-SAA First Team selection this season and is now a two-time NFCA All-Region performer, having earned Third Team honors in 2025. She led the team with 13 doubles and five home runs this season, as well as pacing the Tigers 40 runs scored and 38 RBI. Boudreaux drew 32 walks this year to up her on-base percentage to a team-best .515 on the year. She currently holds the top career batting average in school history and is one just two players who have hit over .400 for a career.

Bailey Wittenauer, Trinity finished the season with a 31-13-1 overall record that included a 14-4 Southern Athletic Association record. The Tigers won the SAA Regular Season Championship and finished second at the SAA Tournament, earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Playoffs. This year was Trinity's first appearance in the NCAA Playoffs since 2007, and the Tigers finished with a 1-2 record at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Texas Lutheran University.
