Kishan Kersten (Plano, Texas / West) was named the ITA West Region Most Improved Player and Tiger women's tennis player
Lauren Tin (Austin, Texas / Vandegrift) was the ITA West Region Player to Watch for the 2025-26 season.
Both Tiger teams enjoyed successful seasons that ended with appearances in the NCAA Playoffs. The men's team advanced to the NCAA Third Round and finished with a 14-9 record, while the women posted a 17-2 record and made it to the NCAA Second Round this season. This is the first ITA Regional award for both Tiger players.
Kersten is an ITA All-American in both singles (2025-26) and doubles (2024-25), who was named the Southern Athletic Association Athlete of the Year in 2026. He was named First Team All-SAA in both singles and doubles and was voted to the SAA All-Tournament Team. Kersten compiled a 13-8 record in singles and a 15-7 doubles record, finishing the season with an 11-match win streak.
Tin wrapped up the season with a 16-3 record in singles and a 13-6 doubles record in 2026, earning herself a spot on the All-SAA First Team in singles and the All-SAA Second Team in doubles. She was also named the SAA Tournament Most Valuable Player after leading Trinity to the SAA Tournament Championship and earning the automatic bid to the NCAA Playoffs.
