SAN ANTONIO - The Trinity Tigers women's team, ranked No. 19 in the NCAA Division III, was shut out 9-0 Tuesday by the Division II St. Edward's Hilltoppers (ranked 14^th) at Delavan Tennis Stadium.

Trinity dropped to 0-6 and will host the University of the Incarnate Word, ranked 24^th in Division II, at 10 a.m. Saturday.

There were close singles matches in the dual match.

Sophomore Katie Griffith of Trinity lost 3-6, 6-3, (10-6) to Audrey Tomkins at No. 2 singles. St. Edwards Elizabeth Jacobi beat Trinity's Katie Budinsky 4-6, 7-5, (10-5) at No. 4 singles.
