San Antonio - Trinity Tigers senior Erin Jamison advanced to Sunday's semifinals of the USTA/ITA Division III Women's Southwest Region Championships at Delavan Tennis Stadium.
 
Jamison beat sophomore teammate Katie Budinsky 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 in Saturday's quarterfinals. Third-seeded Tiger sophomore Thavindra Ekanayake fell 7-6 (7), 6-3 to No. 13 Arianne Goddard of Austin College, and No. 2 Michelle Hagler of UT-Tyler, beat 14th-seeded Kylie Hornbeck of Trinity 6-2, 6-4.

First-year player Kathleen Lundquist defeated Elyse Bigler of Southwestern 6-1, 6-4 in the consolation quarterfinals, and advanced to Sunday's semifinals. Laura Roa, a first-year Tiger, won the "B" singles consolation, beating Lexie Massing of UT-Tyler 8-1 in the final.

In the main-draw doubles semifinals, No. 4 seeds Ekanayake and Jamison fell 9-7 to the top-seeded team of Sydni Hermsdorf and Emily McRae of UT-Tyler.
 
The singles semifinals are slated for 8 a.m., and the championship match at 11 a.m. Doubles is scheduled for 2 p.m., but tournament officials may move the match start time to 11 a.m.

The main-draw singles and doubles winners will advance to next month's National Small College Championships at Mobile, Ala.
