San Antonio -- The Trinity Tigers women, ranked No. 25 in the NCAA Division III, split their matches Saturday at Delavan Tennis Stadium.
 
Trinity (1-2) fell 9-0 to defending national junior college champion Tyler JC, but bounced back to defeat NCAA Division II opponent St. Mary's 6-3.
 
The Tigers started the match with St. Mary's by winning two of three doubles. Trinity lost the Nos. 1 and 2 singles to the Rattlers, but won the final four matches to claim the victory.
 
Trinity will host Mary Hardin-Baylor in a dual match on Friday, March 4.
